Cold Connections

Prerequisite: Fabrication and Soldering Level 1 or previous experience
Tuition: TBD
Time: 18-Hour Class, 3 Consecutive Days

In this class, you’ll learn how to fabricate and create jewelry using only cold connections, which is a technique that does not require the torch/heat. Cold connections allow for the artist to use metal to bring together different pieces and odd materials without the need for a torch. Students with learn the basics of riveting and tab setting techniques to bring together jewelry. This is an important foundation skill of any jewelry maker and excellent for those that don’t want to use a torch yet.
