About this event

Learn to manipulate and shape metal by sawing, cutting, bending, and soldering.

Students will gain confidence in the jewelry studio environment and become familiar with the jewelers’ hand tools, torch, flex shaft, polishing motor, and more. Through individual instruction and class demos, students will learn about layout, piercing, filing, forming, soldering, stone setting, and finishing. Students will complete 3 main skill building projects, the final being a stone setting project of your own design!

For Level 1 students, no previous knowledge is required to attend this class, and students with some experience can greatly benefit from this class as well. This ongoing class is available for students who have taken Level 1 and are ready for Level 2 projects, as well as students looking to build intermediate and advanced skills.

• Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 11am-6pm

• All Standard Materials Included - Optional Precious Metals Available for a fee.

About The Instructor

The workshop is lead by the renowned Goldsmith, Steven Brownlee, founder of Jewelry Creations Workshop. After successful professional training and experience at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco and gaining certification as a jewelry technician with Jeweler of America, Steven was driven to teach and start the Jewelry Creations Workshop in his hometown in South Florida. Steven’s passion for jewelry making and his ambition to keep learning, sharing, and inspiring others to create resonates through the workshop on a daily basis. He loves teaching jewelry making classes and is always happy to see a new face in the studio.
