PRONG FABRICATION AND STONE SETTING CLASS
2 Day Class, 12 Hour Workshop
Intermediate to Advanced

In this two-day class, the instructor will show students how to fabricate a prong setting using wire and join the prong setting to a ring or pendant. Lastly, set cabochon and faceted stones properly. In addition, this class covers modifying your own tools to work more efficiently as well as making new tool.
What To Bring: Students need to bring a basic toolbox with files, sanding sticks, saw frame and blades, pliers, and your everyday, standard tools. Tool boxes can be rented for $50. Silver is extra depending on weight.
Prerequisite for this class: Fabrication and Soldering Level 1 or Weekend Workshop.
If possible, pre-made ring(s) of your choice size using half round ring stock.
