ADVANCED FABRICATION TECHNIQUES FOR BEGINNERS
ADVANCED FABRICATION TECHNIQUES FOR BEGINNERS
Ongoing Class, Intermediate to Advanced
Tuition: $395
Time: 18 Hours
Instructor: Steven Brownlee
This class is a technique-based skill building class for students with previous experience. It is not a finished project-based class, and the skills learned will allow students to create unique projects and enhance their existing skill set. Topics include sawing, filing, drawing wire, tube making, riveting and forging.
There will be homework due to the time needed to complete the projects, and students will need to have the ability and willingness to practice in between classes. Homework can be done using basic hand tools. Tools will be provided during class, and there will be guided open studio time if students need to schedule additional time in between classes.
Prerequisite: Fabrication and Soldering Level 1 or Experience
